U.S. Wrecking began in the early 1970's, when the building demolition industry was relatively new. Starting with small interior jobs completed with hand tools, our services quickly expanded to demolishing houses and larger buildings. Today, large equipment and skilled technicians handle the majority of the workload and we have a hand in a wide variety of projects. Demolishing and renovating foundries, scrap yards, train derailment and industrial plants have given us the experience and background to handle any project.
Recycling has always been a high priority for US Wrecking. We pride ourselves in the fact that we have always strived for innovative solutions for keeping materials out of landfills. We do this by recycling all scrap metals, clean fill, reclaiming lumber and architectural salvage. Finding new buyers for the machinery that is left in buildings can be challenging, which prompted us to add salvage sales to our business. These steps help save much needed space in landfills and translates into lowers cost for our customers.
The team at U.S. Wrecking is looking forward to the future as it makes way for new growth in this historic community. The balance between preserving the past and preparing for the future is a great responsibility and we welcome the challenge.
We look forward to providing a helping hand in Lancaster and Pennsylvania's continued growth.
